Terms of Service
By downloading or using FlashLite you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app and do not use it.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the FlashLite mobile application ("App") published by MJAndroid Dev ("we", "us", or "our"). By installing or using the App you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Licence
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on an Android device you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
- Use the App to develop a competing product or service
- Remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
3. In-App Purchases
The App offers an optional one-time in-app purchase ("Remove Ads") processed through Google Play Billing. All purchases are subject to Google Play's Terms of Service.
- Purchases are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or granted by Google Play's refund policy.
- The "Remove Ads" entitlement is tied to your Google Play account and may be restored on re-installation.
- We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time without notice; such changes do not affect existing purchases.
4. Advertising
The free version of FlashLite displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. By using the free version you consent to the display of such advertisements. Purchasing "Remove Ads" permanently removes all advertisements.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You must not use the App to:
- Harass, distress, or harm any person (e.g. using the strobe mode as a weapon)
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Circumvent any technical measures protecting the App
Health notice: The strobe / rapid-flash mode may trigger photosensitive epilepsy in some individuals. Do not use strobe mode if you or anyone nearby has a history of epilepsy or photosensitivity without first consulting a medical professional.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. Your use of the App is at your own risk.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MJANDROID DEV SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR INR 100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MJAndroid Dev and its principals from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App or breach of these Terms.
9. Third-Party Services
The App integrates third-party services including Google AdMob, Firebase, and Google Play Billing. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. MJAndroid Dev is not responsible for the conduct of those third-party services.
10. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property in the App — including but not limited to the name "FlashLite", logo, design, code, and content — is owned by or licensed to MJAndroid Dev. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or brand features.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your right to use the App at any time without notice if you breach these Terms. Upon termination you must stop using and uninstall the App. Sections 6, 7, 8, and 10 survive termination.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uttar Pradesh, India.
